Dhamaal 4 (2026)
Before discussing this movie, let’s talk about Dhamaal (2007). I feel it is a classic that simply cannot be replaced; even today, whenever I want a laugh, I go to YouTube to watch my favorite scenes from it. If you are a fan of the Dhamaal franchise, you know that the less you overthink things, the more you’ll laugh.
If you decide to watch this film, don’t go in with high expectations or overthink the physics and logic; only then will it provide you with good entertainment. The film features characters who are respectively overconfident, overly greedy, and overly innocent; when they set out on a mission, the situations that arise become far more amusing than the story itself.
If you try to apply logic while watching this film, let me tell you, you won’t enjoy it at all; instead, you’ll find yourself laughing sometimes even at moments where the humor is forced upon you. So, I’m giving you this disclaimer right upfront.
Now, let’s talk about the positives and negatives of this movie what works and what doesn’t so you can decide whether or not to watch it.
Positive Highlights of the Movie
- You will get fantastic, top-notch comedy entertainment. You’ll get to see brilliant one-liners that will leave you rolling with laughter.
- The cast has done a fantastic job. Actors like Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey, and Sanjay Mishra have made the movie enjoyable and entertaining with their comic timing and comic timing is the film’s greatest strength.
- We have watched the movie Dhamaal (2007). While *Dhamaal 4* (2026) might not be able to surpass the iconic original Dhamaal (2007), if you leave your brain at home before going to watch it, you will get full-on entertainment.
- This movie is packed with adventure and comedy, ensuring you are thoroughly entertained. Centered around a treasure hunt, it keeps you engaged with fun twists and humorous scenes.
- If you want to laugh over the weekend without any expectations, then this film might be just the one for you. It has been made purely as a lighthearted entertainer.
Negative Highlights of the Movie
- You won’t find the story particularly impressive, as it follows the plot of our favorite Dhamaal (2007); consequently, you won’t see anything new in the narrative.
- I have read quite a few reviews, and I feel that the humor in this movie is forced; there are attempts to make you laugh by shoving jokes in even where they aren’t needed.
- If you rely on things like physics and logic, you will find yourself searching in vain for them after watching this movie.
- In the first part of the movie, you will find the pace quite slow at times; the story takes a little while to pick up momentum.
- As you know, this movie boasts an impressive star cast; however, I must say that some stars did not receive adequate screen time or substantial roles.
Ikka (2026)
This movie features an array of powerhouse actors. It is a courtroom drama with a runtime of 2 hours and 20 minutes. If you enjoy courtroom thrillers, this film will certainly satisfy you.
The story goes something like this: Akshaye Khanna plays a wealthy character in the movie. He visits a nightclub and gets intimate with a young woman, but a serious incident subsequently occurs involving her. She is found on the road in a near-dead state and ends up in the ICU. Following this, a case is filed against Akshaye Khanna’s character. Then enters the man with the “2.5-kilo hand” Sunny Deol playing the role of a senior and experienced lawyer.
Now, a notable thing about this character is his track record: he hasn’t lost a single case to date. He knows full well who committed the killing, yet he still has to save Akshaye Khanna’s character. You will only find out why he does this after watching the movie.
Now, let’s discuss some of the movie’s positives and negatives, which will help you decide whether or not to watch it.
Positive Highlights of the Movie
- Sunny Deol is one of our favorite actors, and you are going to love his performance. He has portrayed his character brilliantly, effectively conveying both gravity and emotional depth.
- Then there is the powerhouse performer Akshaye Khanna, who has truly elevated the film; his presence has made the movie even more compelling.
- If you enjoy genres like courtroom thrillers and legal dramas, this 2026 Bollywood film could prove to be a satisfying watch for you.
- As you know, camera work and visuals are crucial for a film, and that is why this movie has been presented so effectively.
- The cast of this movie Sunny Deol, Akshaye Khanna, Dia Mirza, Tillotama Shome, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, and Shishir Sharma has delivered a tremendous performance and presented the film brilliantly.
Negative Highlights of the Movie
- This movie has a runtime of 2 hours and 20 minutes, which is quite long; given the story, the pacing feels very slow in certain parts.
- In several places, many scenes have been unnecessarily dragged out where there was no need to stretch the movie and this causes the story to move slowly.
- This movie isn’t for every viewer. If you want to watch something new, this is for you; otherwise, you will only enjoy it if you like genres such as courtroom dramas and serious thrillers.
- You can anticipate the twist in this movie beforehand, though there is still a surprise waiting for you at the end; nevertheless, you do manage to guess the twist early on.
- There are some good emotional scenes and they are indeed well-executed but to be honest, they don’t leave the kind of impact I had expected.
