All the actors have delivered outstanding performances and deserve high praise.

02) Homebound (2025)
I would certainly classify this as a phenomenal movie one that has even been submitted for the Oscars. It tells the story of two friends striving to secure police jobs and the recognition that has long eluded them. However, as they draw closer to realizing their dreams, cracks begin to appear in their relationship. Since it is a story set in a small village, people like us can truly resonate with it.
Now, we have to see whether these two friends will land police jobs or not. Will both of them get the job? How does the relationship between the two friends deteriorate? What kind of difficulties will arise as a result of this strained relationship? You will find the answers to all these questions only by watching the movie.
You could easily rank Homebound ( 2025) at the very top of your list; it is a film that truly touches the heart. Its ending is sure to leave a deep impact on you. I won’t say too much just make sure to watch it at least once; it certainly deserves a chance.

There was an established rule that the king’s men would not enter the forest and the forest dwellers would not enter the king’s territory; however, the new, alcoholic king breaks this rule. You should definitely watch the movie Dhadak 2. It portrays a love story set against the backdrop of caste-based conflict. The plot follows a young man and woman named Nilesh and Vidhi who fall in love while studying together in college, only to face the hardships and struggles that arise in their relationship due to caste differences.
Will our hero and heroine end up together by the movie’s conclusion? Will they fall in love all over again? Will their relationship survive, or will it fall apart? You will have to watch the movie to find out. You may have seen many films of this genre, but believe me, I found the story and the actors’ performances truly impressive and I am sure you will like them too. While the plot itself might not seem unique, the way the movie has been crafted is excellent.
Dhadak 2 (a 2025 release) is an excellent film spanning the romance, mystery, drama, and thriller genres; personally, I had a great experience watching it. That is why I highly recommend that you watch it at least once. With a runtime of 2 hours and 26 minutes, the film portrays the consequences of a romance between a man from a lower social stratum and a woman from a higher one a scenario still witnessed in some places today. You can stream this movie on Netflix; it holds a solid rating of 6.8.
06) Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra (2025)
Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra If you plan to watch this movie, I personally feel you should avoid watching the trailer beforehand; that was my experience when I started watching it without having seen the trailer. I had a great experience watching it, and I believe you will too, but I think it is best to go in without prior expectations. The story revolves around a young woman possessing unique magical powers who is grappling with personal struggles and escalating life challenges; the film explores how she embraces her powers and destiny amidst a changing world around her.
This movie is part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) which is set to become a Malayalam superhero franchise and it is the first film in that series. I really enjoyed it, and I think you will too; but even if it doesn’t quite appeal to you, we should probably give an Indian superhero franchise a chance.
This is an excellent movie blending the Indian superhero, dark fantasy, and supernatural action-adventure genres. Released in 2025, it truly gives you the feeling of having an Indian superhero of our own. With a runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes, it is sure to keep you glued to the screen. Our protagonist plays the role of an Indian diplomat; the film follows his perilous mission to rescue the woman from her captivity, navigating tense political situations and dangerous territories along the way.
How will our hero save that woman? How will he battle against the politics involved? And will he manage to rescue the girl from dangerous territories and bring her back to India? You will find the answers to all these questions in the movie so you will have to watch it to find out.
